 Our client, located on the north coast of Tasmania, between clean, fresh beaches, rich farming land and spectacular mountain peaks full of waterfalls and climbing faces, requires a Locum Paediatric Registrar.
The Hospital
This is a Level 1 Teaching Hospital, with 160 public and 70 private beds, pathology, pharmacy and imaging services, plus it is home to the University of Tasmania's Rural Clinical School. The hospital provides services to around 25,000 patients through the ED, 7500 inpatient services and 81,000 outpatients services annually. Farming is the regions most common occupation, and with a retiring farming workforce and the demand in all areas of medicine continue to grow, particularly for skills in respiratory medicine and diabetes.
Dates
25th October possibly right through to Early 2011.
Renumeration
Rate is $100 per hour, $10 per hour oncall and $100 per hour recall
Shifts start at 08:00 and end at 17:00, with oncall from 17:00 until 08:00 Mon to Fri (24 hours oncall on weekends), with 1:2 oncall
Flights, accommodation, and taxis to and from the airport are provided
Vehicle is provided if you are located offsite
Medical Council Registration fees are reimbursed (if required)
