Located only just over an hour from Melbourne, our client is a 200 bed private hospital in a city of just under 100,000.  The facility provides a full range of medical and surgical services, including maternity, comprehensive diagnostic services, an ICU, cardiac catheterisation services etc.  

Their ED sees around 18,000 adult and paediatric patients per year, with around 3,000 admissions. Patients are a broad cross section of the community, and retrievals to Melbourne are sometimes requried if a cardiac patient requires relocation.  The hospital also services the needs of private patients throughout the wider region, totalling about 250,000.

The roster is for three long shifts per week, leaving plenty of time for you to do whatever you like.  Depending on your qualifications, experience, and registration status, you may choose to work either sessional shifts, be a VMO or be on the regular rotating roster.  Night shifts are generally one in three.
