Thank you for your interest in considering a position in the Gulf Region facilitated through Latitudes Group International.

The following information is provided as a guide to the general requirements for obtaining professional registration in the Gulf Region. This is a guide only, and further information and guidance will be supplied to you when you have successfully obtained an offer of employment.

The Gulf Region is rapidly emerging as a medical powerhouse, providing excellent health care to an increasing population of both nationals and expats, together with the ability to provide services to nearby nations that wish to access the high quality of care and medical services that is available.

In the Gulf Region, our clients have engaged our services to primarily source candidates at specialist consultant level, and to be eligible for this level of appointment, you should possess western board certifications from regions such as the United Kingdom, Europe, Canada, USA, Australia or New Zealand, and have at least five years experience working at consultant level.

Registration of health professionals is conducted through the Ministry of Health relevant to the country in which you wish to work.  In some circumstances and locations it is necessary to appear in person before the relevant board prior to registration being granted, however this is most often achieved after you have obtained “support in principle” for registration, and have entered the country in preparation to commence your duties.

The first hurdle is to be considered for a position, and obtain an offer of employment. Document requirements for you to be considered for registration varies from country to country, however it is generally necessary to provide:

  • copies of a detailed CV (in either English or Arabic)
  • attested copies of the following documents - Primary and Postgraduate Degrees, Internship Certificate and Experience Certificates.
  • A photocopy of your passport and a minimum of 4 photos is also a general requirement.

Where a degree is provided in a language other than English or Arabic, a certified transcribed copy will also need to be provided.

Please be assured that when a position offer has been successfully negotiated, our consultants will keep you fully informed of the requirements for registration, and assist you as much as possible.
